The last to ripen and last to be harvested, the Cabernet Sauvignon vines are grown on gently sloping hills that cool down in the afternoon from the sweeping ocean breeze. This medium-bodied wine is exceptionally smooth for a Cabernet and charms with its blackberry and boysenberry flavors, and smokey oak finish.

Grown from the winery’s oldest vines, this is a wine collector’s rare gem: a bottle that is 100% Carignan. It delights with aromas of blackberries and raspberries and resonates with its velvety texture and light-oak finish. This Carignan stands out amongst the others with its intense fruit flavors--a reward for Gino’s daring to dry-farm the vines and care to not over crop the delicate fruit.

Made from extremely temperamental grapes, the Zinfandel requires much of Gino’s winemaking expertise and patience to bring this grape and all of its complexities to fruition. Its fruit-forward introduction is a nod to the local vineyard estates, while its bold spice finish is a bow to the classic Zinfandel incarnations.
